He's the creative one of the two of us and primarily responsible for photography, design, and business matters. As a freelance photographer and entrepreneur, he has already gained a wealth of experience that benefits us at Nordkit.
He's an IT professional and a passionate DIY enthusiast, so he's responsible for the online shop and production. As an amateur photographer, he also occasionally takes photos, especially when Julius is supposed to be in the picture. :)

It feels like only yesterday that we discovered our passion for handcrafted camera accessories back in 2018. Julius had the brilliant idea of making camera grips and hot shoe covers out of wood, and the response was overwhelming! 📸🪵
When the initial feedback from other photographers was consistently positive, the idea was born: "Why not produce more of these great products and present them to the world?"
Thus began our exciting journey. With great enthusiasm and craftsmanship, we started creating our handmade treasures. Our first steps were driven by the idea of creating wonderful products and making our dream of owning our own shop a reality.
We're looking forward to the upcoming trip with you all! 🌟🤗
In photography, Field Notes are those valuable notes that tell the story behind the image. That's exactly what this blog is for.
Here, we'll take you into our workshop and share insights that don't fit on a product page. We'll go into detail about our materials, give you updates on new projects, and let you look behind the scenes of our craftsmanship in Germany.
"Field Notes" is our direct channel to you: honest, transparent, and unfiltered. Dive into our world of craftsmanship, design, and passion for the perfect light.
